In fact, 11 to 14 January, in the Tuscan capital were on the scene at the Fortezza da Basso and the former Customs, the 79th edition of the historic event of men's fashion, "Pitti Immagine Uomo" and "Pitti W_Woman Precollection" the event dedicated to women's pre-collections in its seventh edition. In an exhibition area 59 thousand square meters of exhibiting 1,090 marks (1,010 to Fortezza da Basso). As always, the event in Florence is chosen from the best companies for the presentation of the collections to the press and buyers. Particular attention is paid to classic fashion and sportswear, the exhibition sections within the fortress were 14 in all: Pitti Uomo, Elective Affinities, Pop Up Stores, Fashion at Work, Sport & Sport, Upper Casual, Ynformal, Urban Panorama , My Factory, Fashion / Design, Future Men, Touch!, the Other Man and New Beat (s).
Never before has given great visibility to the young and experimental fashion, which is contained in the "My Factory", the most interesting and alternative. The exhibition My Factory was founded in the June last year, but at the Pitti and even extends it to occupy the spaces of the Lyceum of Fortezza da Basso, with a totally urban setting designed by Oliviero Baldini. This section is intended as a container of styles that refer to the underground culture, new technologies and the fusion between music, art and design. Among the brands: Commune de Paris, 1871, Cheap Monday, Beat Generation, and Ah-Mazing. There was also the stand of "Sunday 21", the young Neapolitan brand T-shirt with two other brands Neapolitan "I swear that tomorrow I'll stop" and "Office 87": basically one big, colorful and cheerful family.
